The story of BAN is one of friendship, flavors, and fresh perspectives. Nestled in Lausanne, this neo-bistro brings together Vietnamese heritage with a contemporary dining experience, shaped by a multicultural team: Chris from Vietnam, Jorge from Ecuador, and Vincent and Artur from France. Friends before business partners, they opened BAN to create something bold and original — a place that feels both local and worldly. From the start, our role was to channel that essence into their digital presence. With a vibrant social media strategy, we spotlighted the restaurant’s strong Vietnamese character — think bamboo textures, traditional hats, incense sticks — while keeping the visuals rooted in natural light, candid moments, and the unmistakable brightness of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether shooting with daylight or using bold flash photography for nightlife vibes, every image highlights the authenticity of the space and its people. For typography, we opted for a clean system font to maintain a modern, understated feel, allowing the food and atmosphere to speak for themselves. The menu design followed the same principle: minimalist yet full of personality. In the six weeks leading up to BAN’s opening, we crafted a series of reels that wove together the team’s story, the restaurant’s energy, and the excitement of the Lausanne community. The result? An engaged audience, a loyal clientele, and a brand that feels alive both online and offline. Eleven months later, BAN is a local favorite — known for its food, vibe, and a social media presence that feels just as authentic as the people behind it.
